Thu, 12 January 2006 Sometimes, science fiction has the science part pegged as in today's story from Dimension X. It aired on July first, 1950 and predicted that we would have home computers connected to the Internet and they would operate within logical parameters and make decision through the use of artificial intelligence. The show optimistically envisoned this would occur in 1974, but otherwise all was fairly spot on. It's too bad that in this story, the "logics" inform people with how to get away with murder. Who's in charge here, anyway? Could it be "A Logic Named Joe"?Please Take our Listener Survey! Comments[1] |

Don't let your kids turn into couch potatoes by letting the boob tube babysit. At least, that is what Ray Bradbury would teach us from today's story from Dimension X. It is from the pages of his book "The Illustrated Man" and involves two kids who enjoy living out somewhat unhealthy fantasies in the walls of their nursery. From August 9th, 1951, enjoy "The Veldt".
