Thu, 24 November 2005 How do you live your life? If you were floating away
in outer space towards possible doom, would you have
regrets or would you reflect on a life well lived?
Today's story of Dimension X, from the mind of Ray
Bradbury, is another vehicle for introspection. Think
of yourself in the following tale and see which
character you can relate to best. It will tell you
something about yourself. Enjoy the "Kaleidoscope".Comments[0] |

Thu, 10 November 2005 Dimension X is on the agenda for today. Ray Bradbury
gives us a couple short vignettes for Sci-Fi Friday.
It’s a helpful home and malicious children all set
with the backdrop of the apocalypse. Don’t miss it,
folks, as we present two tales for the price of one
with “There Will Come Soft Rains and Zero Hour.Comments[0] |
Thu, 3 November 2005 You wouldn’t think that there is anything out there
that could make us any lazier than television, but
today’s show goes above and beyond the couch potato
influence of the boob tube. Today’s show from
Dimension X involves a technology that promises to do
just that. Robots play nursemaid to the human race.
It’s the Jetson’s on steroids, folks, in “With Folded
Hands. 4/15/1950Comments[0] |

Fri, 28 October 2005 Nicholas Nickleby! Have we got a Halloween treat for
you today! I don’t want to build up any Great

Bleak House, but we have got quite the Tale of Two
Cities for you. It’s a wonderful ghost story with a
great Oliver Twist ending. From 8/24/46 Sci-Fi Friday
presents Light’s Out and “The Signalman.Comments[0] |
Thu, 20 October 2005 Boris Karloff joins us today for Sci-Fi Friday’s third

Thu, 13 October 2005 Today's Sci-Fi Friday deals with a nerd that has been
picked on to the breaking point. The nerd-in-question
turns to science for solace, but does he have too much
built-up-hostility to invent something to benefit
mankind? Find out as we present the Halloween-esque
tale from Lights Out entitled "Oxychloride X".Comments[0] |
Thu, 6 October 2005 The worms crawl in. The worms crawl out. The worms
play Pinochle on your snout. Join us for a
Halloween-esque science fiction story from the annals
of "Lights Out". It's filled with creepy crawlies and
is just right to set the October mood. Beware of "The
Revolt of the Worms".10/13/42Comments[0] |
Thu, 29 September 2005 Orson Welles returns for the second portion of
"Donovan's Brain", today's tale of suspense. Grey
matter under glass is the main course, and it is quite
tasty and malevolent. Thank you for coming and tell
your friends!Comments[0] |
Thu, 22 September 2005 Orson Welles stars in "Donovan's Brain", this week's
sci-fi soup de jour from Suspense. Part one this
week, part two the next. We can't let you have too
much of a good thing all at once! Bon appetitComments[1] |
Thu, 15 September 2005 Jack Benny stars as Zeno in today's episode of
Suspense. He's a Martian assigned the task of
completing a mission to keep Mars safe. The plan
seems to be the "ultimate solution" for Earthlings
exploring Mars. It's too bad that a beautiful Earth
woman Connie seems to be the proverbial fly in the
ointment. Will he succeed or will that pesky love bug
get in the way of "Plan X"?Comments[0] |

Poets beware! In the year "2462", the title of
today's episode of Suspense, you can be terminated for
writing nonproductive literature. That's just what
the hero of today's story is facing as he finds
himself imprison on death row for writing poetry on
company time. Why didn't he just stick to
clockwatching like the rest of us?

Thu, 25 August 2005 In the year 2012, the military begins to have problems
with curious and tenacious little UFOs. In this

Thu, 18 August 2005 The Bangles said it best when they said "Walk Like an
Egyptian". That's exactly what we will do today in
the following episode of 2000 Plus. In "The Temple of
the Pharaohs" we will examine history through the eyes
of the future. Join Brian, the Denizen of Alternate
Dimensions, as we travel forward in time, only to be
thrust back into ancient Egypt. Remember, it’s the
journey – not the destination.Comments[0] |
Fri, 12 August 2005 Think Titanic in outer space with a meteor in lieu of
an ice-berg for today's show from 2000 Plus.
Survivors of the "Golden Star" must face impossible
odds in an effort to stay alive. Do they have what it
takes to survive? Can they outlast, outwit, and
outplay(?) each other as they wait for unlikely
rescue? Find out as we face the dramatic "Space
Wreck".

Thu, 4 August 2005 While the
doctor is away, a monstrous moth will play! An play
he does as he traps the hapless scientist's wife and
the grocery boy in the laboratory. I bet these two
wish they had paid more attention in biology class as
they match wits with "The Insect".

Wed, 12 January 2005 Sometimes, science fiction has the science part pegged as in today's story from Dimension X. It aired on July first, 1950 and predicted that we would have home computers connected to the Internet and they would operate within logical parameters and make decision through the use of artificial intelligence. The show optimistically envisoned this would occur in 1974, but otherwise all was fairly spot on. It's too bad that in this story, the "logics" inform people with how to get away with murder. Who's in charge here, anyway? Could it be "A Logic Named Joe"?Comments[4] |
